On February 5, 2026 at approximately 1258 a.m. Deputies confirmed a vehicle to be traveling westbound on Rodeo Road at 87 mph in a 45 mph speed zone. Deputies attempted to stop the vehicle, which fled from law enforcement at speeds of over 100 mph. The vehicle then turned north off Highway 30 onto Hoover Road and ran into a dead-end street. The vehicle drove through a barricade onto private property and came to rest in an RV parking lot. The driver was identified as 24 year old Bryan Blackler of Maywood. Mr. Blackler was arrested and lodged in the Lincoln County Detention Center on the following charges:
-Willful reckless driving
-Operating a motor vehicle to avoid arrest
-Possession of a deadly weapon while committing a felony
-Criminal mischief less than $500.00
