
City of North Platte’s and West Central Health District’s mosquito control surveillance data indicates that fogging operations to control nuisance mosquitoes should begin. Fogging applications for mosquitoes in various sections of the City will begin July 22, 23, and 24, 2025. Mosquito control fogging crews will be utilizing Ultra-Low Volume (ULV), truck-mounted foggers to apply adulticide in residential areas, parks, recreation areas.
Tues. July 22 -From East City Limits to West City Limit between Front Street & 2nd Street
-From East City Limits to West City Limits between 7th Street & Northern City Limits
Wed. July 23 -From East City Limits to West City Limits between “A” Street & Leota Street (Burlington Blvd & Leota Street)
Thurs. July 24 -From East City Limits to West City Limits between 2nd Street & “A” Street (2nd Street & Burlington Blvd )
-City Limits area South of the South Platte River
Treatments will begin at 8:00pm and end approximately at 12:00am Midnight, weather permitting. Residents living in these areas are asked to take precautions by turning off window fans, and closing windows and doors through these evening hours when treatment occurs in their neighborhood.
