Officers from the North Platte Police Department participated in a Distracted Driver Enforcement campaign from April 7th through April 14th.
A total of 181 traffic contacts were made department wide. Of the 181 contacts, 58 citations were issued.
Two people were arrested for DUI. Two people were cited for DUS. One person was cited for Carless Driving.
Fourteen speeding citations were issued. Three citations were issued for Failure to Yield. Three citations were issued for traffic signal violations.
One person was cited for possession of marijuana. Six people were arrested on fugitive warrants.
