A gorgeous golf day led to a title for the North Platte Saint Pat’s golf team, claiming their home invite at River’s Edge on Thursday by 48 strokes. The Irish shot a team score of 336, ahead of second-place North Platte JV, who finished at 384. Sutherland finished in third with a 394.
Individually, it was all Irish at the top with Connor Hasenauer (75) and Teegan Sonneman (79) finishing first and second, with South Loup’s Colbi Smith coming in third at 81. Brett Downing of Sandhills-Thedford finished in fourth with an 82 while Sutherland was led by Ty Monie, who shot a 91.
