Maxwell/St Pats Baseball to Host First Home Game Monday

The Maxwell/St Pats new baseball coop will host their first ever home games at Bill Wood Field in North Platte this coming Monday, April 12th against Central City/Fullerton, with a check presentation included.

According to a release from North Platte Catholic Schools, the doubleheader will begin at three PM, with the second game to follow at five. The team plays their first games of the season at Lincoln Christian on Friday, April 9th. The games were moved from Thursday to Friday due to anticipated weather in Lincoln.

To kick-off the home season NebraskaLand National Bank will be providing a tailgate on Monday from 3-6 with a free will donation. They will also present a donation check to the MSP coaches.

The coop will have athletes from both Maxwell and North Platte St. Pat’s, bringing baseball to each school at the high school level for the firs time. The team is coached by Maxwell Athletic Director Ryan Jones, assisted by Brad Braithwait from St Pat’s.
