North Platte Track and Field teams concluded their district season with a sixth place finish on both girl’s and boy’s in Kearney on Tuesday. Elkhorn South girls and Creighton Prep boys were the champions in the team scores.
The Lady Bulldogs finished with 33.5 points. Carly Purdy led the way, winning the long jump. The Senior won it by more than two inches with a jump of 17 feet, 3-1/2 inches.
On the boy’s side, North Platte finished with 32 points. The Bulldog’s 4×8 relay were the lone champs, taking the event with a time of 8:15.89. That grouping includes Quade Lowe, Luke Tegtmeier, Aiden Hawks and Rian Teets.
