University of Nebraska Extension Educator Brenda Aufdenkamp joined Huskeradio’s Mugs in the Morning with Tristen Winder this week to discuss food and health safety ahead of the holiday season.
Aufdenkamp serves as food, nutrition and health educator for the University of Nebraska Extension Office. A focused Extension Educator in Food, Nutrition and Health in Lincoln, Logan, McPherson, Keith, Arthur, Perkins, Hooker, Grant, Thomas and Blaine Counties. Brenda has served as an Nebraska Extension Educator for 30 years focusing on 4-H Youth Development, Healthy Lifestyles and Food Safety. Currently my youth programming focus is delivering Healthy Habits Grants and MyPlate programs. Adult programming focuses on food safety and current healthy lifestyle topics, according to the extension website.
