NP City Leaders Table Vote on Half-Cent Sales Tax Increase to Fund Rec Center

At Tuesdays North Platte City Council meeting City Leaders voted to table their vote on a half-cent sales tax increase to fund the North Platte Recreation Center project and related issues due to absence of Ward Three Representative Jim Carman. Members of the public packed the council chambers speaking in support of the project. The issue will resurface at the August 16th meeting.
