Several Western Nebraska Boys Basketball Ball Teams Advance to District Finals

Several High School Boys Basketball teams kept their seasons alive Thursday evening. In class B; the Seventh seeded Bison of McCook will face Blair in the B-7 District Final. In other class B action Sidney will play Waverly in the battle of the 8th and 9th seeds. In Class C; Chadron has claimed the 14th seed and will play Kearney Catholic in the C1-3 District Final. In the C1-7 District Final, the seventh seed Ogallala will face off against 10th seeded Milford. In Class C2 action; Maxwell claims the 16 seed after upsetting Hitchcock County in a Sub District Final. The Wildcats will play the top seed Humphrey / Lindsay Holy Family. In the C2-5, Doniphan Trumbull will play Bridgeport in the battle of fifth and twelfth seeds.

North Platte Saint Pat’s has claimed the top seed in class D and will face Ansley-Litchfield in the D1-1 District Final. Second Seeded Dundy County Stratton will take on Johnson-Brock in the D1-2 District Final. In class D2, Hyannis has claimed the third seed and will face Hay Springs in the D2-3 District Final. In the D2-4 District Final, Paxton has clamed the thirteenth seed and will play Wynot. After being upset by Paxton, Medicine Valley has claimed the fifth seed and will face Shelton. In the battle of the eight and ninth seeds, Mullen will play Potter-Dix.
