The annual Best in the Midwest track meet was held in Sutherland on Tuesday, with several area athletes competing against their best counterparts from all over the region.
No team scores were kept, but individual titles were claimed by nearly all area schools including North Platte, North Platte Saint Pats, Hershey, Gothenburg, Paxton, Mullen, Wauneta-Palisade, Sandhills-Thedford, South Loup, Sandhills Valley, Ogallala, Medicine Valley and Cozad.
