With the primary election of May 12th approaching, KODY radio has announced plans to air a Mayoral Candidate Forum on April 27th. The forum, which will air from 6-8 PM that evening on 1240-AM and 106.1-FM, will include the candidates answering questions from a variety of topics. It will be hosted by Huskeradio News Director Tristen Winder and North Platte Bulletin Editor George Lauby.
The primary will narrow the field of candidates to two in preparation for the general election in November. Current mayoral candidates include Brandon Kelliher, Andrew Lee, John Hales, Lonnie Parsons and Larry Lee Britton.
Once the forum has aired, Huskeradio will have a digital copy of the forum posted on huskeradio.com.
