On the evening of Thursday, November 7th rescue and law enforcement personnel were dispatched to lot HH in the 800 block of West Maple Street in Lexington. The call referenced an individual that had suffered a gunshot wound. Rescue and law enforcement personnel were soon dispatched to Plum Creek Parkway where it was reported that there were two individuals that had been stabbed. According to a Press Release from the Lexington Police Department authorities soon determined that both of these incidents were related.
After receiving medical attention police arrested Derrick Davis and jailed the 31-year-old on charges of robbery, use of a weapon to commit a felony and attempted murder. 26-year-old Ahmed Mohamed is continuing to receive medical attention for a knife wound and currently has charges pending. The gunshot victim Rodney Ochoa continues to receive medical attention and Marco Ochoa has been released with a citation for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
