North Platte hosted the Greater Nebraska Athletic Conference cross-country meet on Wednesday at Iron Eagle and had an exciting finish for gold. Bulldog Evan Caudy just edged Hastings’s Jaydon Welshing by a half second to claim the title, helping his team to a second-place finish.
On the girl’s side, Zarah Blaesi finished in third overall for North Platte. The meet was moved up a day due to anticipated weather on Thursday. Full meet results are available here.
