The North Platte golf team earned their way to state by finishing in third as a team at the A-4 District Meet at Miracle Hills Golf Course in Omaha Tuesday. The Bulldogs shot a team score of 315 just behind Millard West who finished at 312. Lincoln Southwest won the meet with a team score of 304. The top three teams all qualify as a team for the State Tournament to be held at Norfolk Country Club next week.
Individually, Charlie Hillis of Lincoln Southwest won the meet shooting a 70. North Platte was led by Kyle Zimbelman finished at 75, good for 5th. Chesney Tatman shot a 76, following up in 6th while Finn Lucas tied for 10th with a 80.
