The Sutherland boy’s golf team easily won the Creek Valley Golf Invite Tuesday in Chappell, winning with a team score of 336, 25 strokes ahead of second place. Garden County came in second, followed by Mullen at 372.
Individually Sutherland’s Kyler Peck put together an impressive day, shooting a 72, well ahead of Mullen’s Koby Walker who was second at 78. The Sailors also got a nice day from Bennett Floyd, who shot an 83. Perkins County’s Michael Beck shot an 84, followed by Garden County’s Connor McCord who rounded out the top five with an 89.
