The Republican Plains Activities Conference boy’s golf invite was held yesterday at Arrowhead Meadows Golf Course in Curtis and the home team took the title as Medicine Valley shot their way to a team finish of 381. Southern Valley was second at 396 followed by Paxton at 399.
Individually Cambridge’s Preston Carbaugh took the crown shooting an 81, six strokes ahead of second-place Ty Helf of Alma. Sheldon Johnsen from Medicine Valley shot an 88, good for 3rd. Paxton was led by Jeff Storer who shot a 90, good for 6th. Teammate Jeremy Peterson finished with a 96, coming in 9th overall.
