Perkins County Wins CC Invite, Hershey 4th

Winds were hectic and weather conditions weren’t favorable for golf, but area teams competed through it at the Chase County Golf Invite Wednesday at Enders Golf Course. Perkins County came away with the team title, finishing with 353 strokes followed by Kimball at 370 and McCook at 377. Hershey finished 4th at 388 followed by Sutherland at 414.

Individually Mason Michaelis of McCook was the champion, shooting an 84. Dillon Wise of Kimball followed at 86 while a pair of Plainsmen were next in Tyson Patrick and Josh Johnston, both shooting an 87. Sutherland was led by Tayton Schuster who shot a 92, good for 9th along with Hershey’s River Hudson who shot a 92.
