The North Platte St. Pat’s track teams made the trip to Arapahoe and made it well worth at the conclusion of the day, sweeping both girl’s and boy’s titles. The Irish had to edge Cambridge on both sides by five total points, scoring 103 on the girl’s side, besting the Trojans who had 98. On the boy’s side, NPSP scored 101 points, just beating Cambridge who had 96.

Individually, the Irish were led by Keegan Foust who dominated hurdles, winning both the 110 and 300 meter races. James Schroll took first in the 200 meter dash for NPSP, as did Jalen Stienike in pole vault. The Irish also won the 4×1 relay, going along with five other 2nd place finishes.

For the Lady Irish, the Irish had two first-place finishes with their 4×1 and 4×4 relays but were steady in nearly every event, finishing with four 2nd place and six third place finishes. Kelsey Folchert and Genna Blakely paced the long-distance runners for the Irish, finishing in 2nd and 3rd respectively in both the 1600 and 3200 meter races.
