The Lincoln County Commissioners approved Improvement Fund grants to be given to Nebraskaland Days in the form of fifty thousand dollars, for a multi-year commitment. The funds were approved in 2015 for improvements to the Wild West Arena. The North Platte Community Playhouse will receive fifty thousand dollars, they need the funds to maintain the beautiful theater in downtown North Platte. Hershey will use seventeen thousdand dollars for upgrades to their baseball facilities. Maxwell received five thousand dollars for work on the Veterans Memorial project. The Creativity Unlimited Arts Council received twenty five thousand dollars to help with the renovation of their building. The Lincoln County Historical Museum received seven thousand eight hundred and sixty four dollars for the Brady Island Depot roof replacement. The Lincoln County Visitors Bureau advisory committee will benefit from one hundred and five thousand dollars left over for five projects they have this year. The lodging tax dollars have helped to maintain or build facilities we use or are used by visitors and guests.
